About me

I'm Megan — an Online Business Manager helping entrepreneurs who have founded membership, course, and subscription businesses. Think of me as a virtual assistant who can also take ownership of your systems, your customer experience, and the operational glue that holds everything together. I'm the person you hand the back-office to when you want it run properly, and someone you can actually trust with the keys.

My work sits across three things: the systems that hold your business together, the writing that goes out to your customers, and the quiet operational work that keeps everything moving while you focus on the parts only you can do.

On the systems side, I build and maintain funnels, websites, automations, and the connections between them — using tools such as systeme.io, Airtable, Zapier, Aweber, Paperform, Typeform, Stripe, Wix, WordPress, and Meta Business Manager. I've worked with most of these tools and more for years, across my own businesses and my clients', so I understand how data should flow between them and what to do when it doesn't.

On the customer-facing side, I am a well-experienced customer service representative and am happy to handle the emails you don't have time (or simply don't want!) to write — refund requests, billing disputes, lapsed memberships, onboarding sequences. I'll be warm, accurate, and on-brand, without overpromising or sounding like a script.

Regarding my experience and history, I have a 2:1 LLB Hons degree in Law from the University of Southampton. I then spent nine years in UK law enforcement — four as a Detective Constable with Surrey Police and five as an Investigator with the National Crime Agency. I mention it because it's the honest answer to a question founders are right to ask: can I trust this person with my inbox, my Stripe account, and my customers? Yes. Plus, proofreading and tidy writing come with the territory of a career built on written reports. Within the NCA, I also spent a year as an Assistant Project Manager, delivering a software build for national rollout to UK police forces, and during this time I achieved an AgilePM Foundation certification.

I currently primarily work with Grounded Connections, a UK and Ireland-based social community for women, where I handle customer support, member operations, back-end administration, and ongoing website and systems work.

I'm currently based in Arkansas, USA, where I live with my husband and two children, but we travel back to the UK frequently. In my spare time, I'm all about getting outside with the kids and making the most of the wonderful sunshine we get here!
